Isawa,an ancient village in the Kofu Valley,facing
the southern Alps to the west, and Mt Fuji
to the south,makes us enjoy the magnificent
view of the Nature as well as allows us
to appreciate the palatable flavor of the
native wine. Hereabouts, we have cold winter
and
hot summer,with less rainfall and longer
shining hours, which makes this region quite
fit
for cultivating grapes.Moreover, the gritty
and well-drained soils and a higher land-temperature
have made the Kofu Valley famous for early
cropping of the grapes.The cropped grapes
are of
excellent quality with high percentage of
sugar; these are the reasons why Isawa has
been
admitted as an ideal place for wine-making.
Here,in this Kofu Valley called as a Bordeaux
of
Asia,Hombo Shuzo which *Shochu-maker in Kagoshima prefecture established
the Yamanashi
factory in 1960.Since about 40 years, brand
name'Mars Wine'in accordance with the motto
'Showed reliable quality by a bottle of Mars
Wine',
We are supplying every region in Japan with
excellent wines.
*Shochu is one of the most popular distilled liquors
in Japan.
